The STIHL MS 172 is a capable petrol chainsaw for homeowners processing firewood and handling general cutting around the garden. Its 31.8 cc engine offers a little more power than the MS 162 while staying light and easy to manage.
Fitted with a 30 cm (12") guide bar and 3/8"P chain as standard, it features side-access chain tensioning and the STIHL anti-vibration system for comfortable use. Also available with a 35 cm (14") guide bar to order.
